SPECIAL TENANT ELECTION

The Cohoes Housing Authority will be holding a Special Tenant Election for one (1) Tenant Representative to serve on our Board of Commissioners. The elected Tenant Representative would be filling a current two (2) year term that expires on March 31, 2026.

The following procedures and dates shall apply to this year's special election to be held on January 7, 2024.

To be eligible to vote, a person must have been residing in an Authority complex before SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 and must be eighteen (18) years of age or older on DECEMBER 3, 2024.

Annual Plan Public Hearing

The Cohoes Housing Authority has significant amendments to it’s 2024 PHA plan that was submitted to HUD in July 2024.
The revised 2024 PHA Plan is available for review at the Authority’s Office located at 100 Manor Sites, Cohoes, NY, 12047. The Authority’s hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

In addition, a PUBLIC HEARING will be held in person or virtually on January 21, 2025 at 5:30pm in the Manor Sites Community Room.
